today I learned that it’s quite possible that Goliath had suffered from bitemporal hemianopia, since he was huge and had lots of growth hormone coming from his pituitary gland, this also explains how a tumor in that region must have been compressing his optic chiasm which kept him from seeing things peripherally in his temporal vision.
